Perrisblu Success
Our favourite Kerry of all is Champion Angel Delight she is an absolute Angel in everyway. She became a Champion at the age of eight years fewer than three incrediblely well respected judges (Harry O'Donoghue, Shawn Delmar, and Liz Cartledge).
Champion Royal Fern is a daughter of Angel Delight at Crufts 2000 she won the bitch challenge certificate only beaten by the eventual Best in Show winner. She repeated this win in 2001 and became the UK's Top Terrier of 2001, a multiple group and best in show winner she took her third Crufts challenge certificate in 2003, she was the World Winner in the same year - a real Crufts champion, she quite simply set our standard.
Queen of Dreams was quite simply that, Royal Fern surpassed our expectations so to have a bitch to carry on her winning ways was quite literally a 'dream'.
'The Governor' fulfilled his early promise and was made a UK Champion by the age of eighteen months - one of the youngest champions in the breed ever. He was later after much deliberation exported to South Africa where he became a multiple best in show and group winner.
In 2004 Perrisblu Paris came into our lives and immediately grabbed our attention. Sired by 'The Governor' she was Perriblu through and through. Fortunately she grabbed everyone else's too! Having gained her UK title with 6 BOB, 8 Challenge Certificates and 4 Reserve Challenge Certificates including the Bitch Challenge Certificate at Crufts 2004 (our fourth such win in five years). We were approached by our good friends Don and Nora Gau in Hawaii, offering to campaign Paris in America - an offer we quite simply couldn't resist.
Paris grabbed even more attention in America and became American Champion over one weekend of showing, she won Best of Breed at Montgomery 2007 from the classes, Best of Breed at the AKC / Eukanuba National Show in 2007 and latterly Group 2, and Best of Breed at Westminster in 2008,Paris was multiple Group and Best in show winner.
In 2004 Perrisblu in partnership with our good friend and well known Fox Terrier exhibitor Andrew Goodsell imported a Wire Fox Terrier AM Champion EL-Rays Snowtaire Iceni Payback. Affectionately known as "Payback" We campaigned her 2004 gaining her UK Title. Payback won two all breed best in shows with over 10,000 entries in each show, in 2005 Payback could not go to Crufts due to maternity leave.
After rearing her puppies in 2005 our focus turned to preparation for Crufts 2006. Andrew and Phil got her back in condition and she looked better than ever. There were 24,000 entries for Crufts that year, with dogs entered from 35 countries around the World. Payback won Best of Breed, The Terrier Group and Reserve Best in Show. Our biggest achievement to date and what a memorable time that was. Payback now lives in retirement as our family pet.
